Our client approcahed us to help them run the bars at Petts Wood Calling Fesitval
We were recently approached by the organizers of the Petts Wood Calling Festival, a popular music event that attracts over 2000 people. Our client was in need of a high-flow pour service to keep up with the demand and wanted a diverse range of drinks on tap to suit all customers. They turned to us for help, and we were more than happy to supply the draught drinks tap system for the event.
Our team designed a custom system for the festival, which included 15 taps over an 8m bar that we also provided. We selected Amstel as the main lager, London Pride as a fast-pouring bitter, Orchards cider (the new cider from Asahi UK), Meantime Pale Ale, and Guinness on draught, which is a rarity at any festival.
To keep the kegs below 6 degrees and ensure quick service, we designed a remote cellar away from the bar that had kegs fed from a chiller trailer that we also supplied. We provided staff to monitor the equipment and help with keg changes over the weekend of the event.
The festival was a huge success, and our client saw a significant increase in sales, with a rise of over 20 percent compared to previous years. The diverse range of drinks on tap kept the customers happy, and the high-flow pour service ensured that there were no long queues or waiting times.
We were thrilled to have been a part of such a fun and exciting event, and we're even more pleased that we've been invited back to supply the entire bar for the next event. It was a challenging project, but our team worked together to provide the perfect solution for our client, and the results speak for themselves.
